International Roadcheck June 5-7, 2012
International Roadcheck, a 72-hour commercial vehicle inspection event, will take place June 5-7 at the eastbound scales at St-Jacques, N.B., and at the westbound scales in Cabano, Quebec. This is the first time the neighbouring provinces have partnered for this event.

(April 25, 2012) Transportation Minister Claude Williams has made an announcement regarding a change in the end of the spring weight restriction period
 
Spring weight restrictions will now be removed on main arterial highways at midnight Sunday April 29, 2012 in southern New Brunswick and at midnight May 6, 2012 in northern New Brunswick.  Remaining secondary highways in the province will open by midnight May 13, 2012, throughout New Brunswick
