The objective of the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association (APTA)
is to promote the trucking industry in Atlantic Canada through the
lobbying of issues affecting the industry and the development of
services and products for members that enhance their role in the
trucking industry. The object is pursued through government
and public liaison, and operations. For over 50 years, the
APTA has joined together both small and large carriers, goods and
service suppliers who have an interest in pursuing this
objective. The APTA currently has over 300
members.
