GOOD SAMARITAN AWARD
Please read the “Good Samaritan” Selection Criteria and Nomination Form carefully to ensure all questions are answered and all required documentation is included with the submission.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Presented to an individual or organization in recognition of outstanding service, contribution, or impact on drivers or members of the industry through positive and inspiring actions or initiative. This award can also be presented to a government entity, for support provided to the industry or to an APTA member.
- The candidate must be a resident of one of the four Atlantic Provinces.
- Any pertinent newspaper clipping, letter of commendation, etc., to be included in support of the nomination.
- The event must have taken place between October 15th, 2022 and October 15th, 2023.
When submitting nominations, please bear in mind that the nomination represents a professional honour in the Atlantic Provinces trucking industry and therefore the nominee’s qualifications must be carefully evaluated.
Nominations can be submitted by the employer or other associations (i.e. THRSC, NSTSA).
